VIRGILE

A freelance journalist and writer, Virgile worked as the French assistant to the correspondent of the Washington Post in Europe from 2014 to 2016. As such, he covered burning topics like the rise of a French Tea Party and the 2015 Paris attacks, offering valuable insights on French society as well as finding angles to report on political and cultural issues. Other experiences as a fixer and local producer include working for Vice News US, covering the evacuation of the Calais Jungle in October 2016 and the shark crisis in La Réunion.

A graduate from Sciences Po Paris in International Affairs, Virgile is also a teacher of International Relations at Oxbridge Academic Programs and has taught at the ESSCA Business School in Paris.
